Royalty Free Stock Photography The client, a photographer, wanted a site to display his stock of Tenerife photos and images of Canary Islands and Cape Verde for sale on the internet. The site contains over 3,500 images (and growing daily) which are each held as a single large size. When an order is placed the customer selects the size/s he wants his images to be and they are automatically sized by the server prior to download. The client has a desk-top program which catalogues and keywords the photos, uploads them, creates thumbnails on demand and water marks the display version. In addition the client can add and edit articles about the photos which improve the web site ranking of the site. |

Holiday Apartments Direct The brief here was to design a site which puts holidaymakers in contact with apartment owners. Members of the site maintain their own property details, set their own availability calendar and upload their own photos which are sized and thumb-nailed on the site. Also they can print account documents in Word output from the site. A desktop program links to the server database and allows the site owner to administer the site data without the need to use the web site. This same program allows them to print invoices and receipts and issue renewal notices to owners. |

Tenerife Car Hire This site was designed to advertise rental cars in Tenerife. part of the design brief was that the client could select their car from a list available, enter the dates of the rental period and have the site email these details to the site owner. That form posting would included the final reckoning of the rental. The client also had the provision of altering the car rental details, rates and specifications via a desktop program which connects directly to the server database, meaning that any changes at all to the rental rates would appear instantaneously on the site. |

Open Blue NLP Courses The clients for this needed not only to advertise the NLP services they were providing but also to explain thoroughly what the courses entailed with a level of detail which made clear to the site visitor what they would expect, without bogging them down with jargon. A long consultative process provided a suitable direction for the site to take with the text striking middle ground between being informative and overwhelming. A desktop program provides the clients with the ability to add course details to the server database, including prices, dates and venue maps. |

Eze Group The client for this site wanted an informative site advertising the benefits of the EZE group holiday club. In addition to providing information, the site was too allow membership log in via a database. The site would also provide members with facilities to book and request holidays. The client also requested a special 2-day pass which would allow non-members to visit the member section to see the facilities and provisions made to members. |

Old Dogs, New Tricks The Tenerife-based rock band, Old Dogs, New tricks wanted a fan site for people to view band information, photos and video and to see a calendar of upcoming gigs. A desktop based program allows the clients to alter the venues and dates and to moderate the guest book so they could monitor the comments before publication to the site. The also wanted their full catalogue to appear on the site for purchase. Each page has the provision for playing a small clip of their music from randomly selected songs |

Web sites are very much individual things. Whilst some companies require and all-singing, all-dancing affair with bells and whilstles, some require nothing more than a showcase presence to wave a flag to the world.
